South Adelaide Netball Club

The South Adelaide Netball Club has welcomed Southern Vales Nissan as Major Sponsor for 2021 and beyond.

South Adelaide Netball Club President, Megan Wooldridge, said the partnership with Southern Vales Nissan was a truly game changing sponsor for the club.

“Our club is so excited to have Southern Vales Nissan as our Major Sponsor, their investment in our club will show benefit across the club at all levels,” Ms Wooldridge said.

“Nissan nationally has a strong alliance with netball so the partnership has been a natural fit. We’ve loved Southern Vales Nissan’s commitment to ensuring our club remains the Premier League club of the south and supporting our members at every level or role of the game.”

South Adelaide Netball Club members are eligible to receive a discount under the Netball Australia Member Discount on any new car purchase with Southern Vales Nissan. Ms Wooldridge encouraged members to support the club’s new Major Sponsor.

“If you’re in the market for a car, our partners at Southern Vales Nissan would love to help you out. It’s so important in grassroots sport that we support our sponsors when they support us.”

Introducing the Premier League Head Coach for 2021, Dani Johnson!
. . .
After growing up on Koolan Island and scoring her first coaching gig at age 16, Dani never knew she was about to embark on a netball journey that would lead her to living and breathing this great game for many years to come.
Having coached various age groups from young girls and boys at community club netball, to the highest standard of the game in AMND and Premier Leagues, it’s safe to say Dani has learnt a thing or two about mentoring players and helping individuals realise their full potential, both on the court and behind the scenes!
Having played in what is now known as Premier League basketball, Dani has first-hand experienced the dedication, resilience and skill required to make it to the top. Anyone that personally knows Dani will agree that her love for the game and her commitment to the club is seen through everything she does, and even more so since 2013 when she was first introduced to the Premier League competition.
. . .
“I am very excited to be a part of this great club, and getting to know not just the players, coaches and volunteers, but their biggest support network, their families, too. As coaches, we have a very important role to not only further develop our players, but to create a team…and part of this is to ask why people play netball?” – Dani
. . .

Congratulations, Dani!

We look forward to seeing more of your tough love, knowledge of the game and competitive spirit shine through in 2021!

Introducing the Premier League Reserves Head Coach for 2021, Scott Fort (Scoota).
. . .
Scoota has a long and loyal history with Woods, having led the team as Reserves Assistant Coach in 2010 and 2015, and soon after stepping up as the Reserves Coach for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018.
After a short stint at another club, we’re excited to have Scoota back with a fresh perspective and determination to guide our Premier League Reserves players to the top in 2021!
With 12 years’ experience in the Premier League Competition, Scoota brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise of the game…and having played men’s and mixed netball in the SMMNA, CANA, ISA and INA comps in previous years, he sure knows the dedication, teamwork and commitment it takes to make it to the top!
“I am very excited to be asked back and be part of South Adelaide Netball Club again. I’m looking forward seeing some of the girls I have previously coached and getting to know the new girls and assisting in their development.” – Scoota

Congratulations, Scoota! Bring on 2021!
