2022 Sponsor Announcement!
South Adelaide Netball Club is proud to announce that Brilliant SA continues their commitment to supporting women in sport, through their renewed Club Sponsor deal for 2021-2023 – a local business that has supported the Club for over a decade.
“South Adelaide Netball Club couldn’t be happier with the ongoing support we have received from Brilliant SA. Their commitment to us is invaluable and we’re grateful for their support of grassroots and pre-elite netball in the south” said Club President, Megan Wooldridge.
They might specialise in kitchen, bathroom, laundry and multi-room renovations, but their emphasis on supporting local is an equally brilliant part of how they operate.
“Brilliant SA first become involved in our club through one of the Directors’ daughters playing, and we’ve been lucky enough for them to maintain their investment in the club over such a long period. Brilliant SA’s sponsorship is specifically directed towards supporting our coaches who are an integral part of our club’s success.”
They have also been generous in offering the Club funds, above their annual Sponsorship, via a Referral Program that provides our Club referral income, and provides our members & supporters with a $500 credit toward their next renovation project. We encourage you to get behind these long-term supporters when you consider your next home renovation project, as your choice will benefit many. Information about the Referral Program can be found here.
Brilliant SA Managing Director, Peter Sveinsson said “We are delighted to continue our support of the Panthers under the new SANC banner. We acknowledge the huge contribution of the coaches and players, while not forgetting all the others who help out on match day and throughout the year.”

Netball SA’s top-tier competition will make its return next month, with the Premier League set to kick off on July 17. After months of uncertainty following the outbreak of COVID-19, the eight clubs that compete in the Premier League finally have a date to work towards. The 2020 season will be conducted in a condensed format with three games per fortnight, as opposed to the usual weekly schedule.
However, the three-week finals series will return to the typical weekly format. One match per week during the minor rounds will be live streamed through Spacequake. This announcement follows last week’s news that the Adelaide Metro Netball Division (AMND) – Netball SA’s largest competition for both juniors and seniors – will commence on July 18.Netball SA CEO Bronwyn Klei said she was thrilled to see netball back ready for action.
“The past few months have been challenging for our sport, but I’m so excited to announce our Premier League finally has a start date,” Ms Klei said.
“It’s wonderful news for our state’s talented athletes who have worked so hard to earn their spots across the eight clubs.
“Also, knowing AMND was given the green light last week is huge for sport in our state as the competition represents our biggest participation of both junior and senior netballers.”
In addition, several associations across the state will hit the courts for the start of their 2020 seasons this weekend.
“The impact of COVID-19 certainly took its toll on our clubs and associations, so to know so many netballers will be back on court this weekend is wonderful,” Ms Klei said.
“The return of our sport is a real credit to the dedication and passion of our volunteers across SA who have gone above and beyond to make their seasons possible.”
South Adelaide Netball Club would like to congratulate Rachel Redden on her selection into the 2019 U/17 South Australian state netball team. She also competed in the U15 SSSSA state team and won bronze at the Pacific School Games, and also being selected into the U17 development squad. Rachel is “really excited for the opportunity to play with and against such high quality players whilst representing my state” and was completely in shock when she read the team list and saw her name was among the selected players. “I was just so happy to make the team, last year I made the Development Squad and so this year I really wanted to make the State Team. I put so much hard work on (League/ Reserves and with Judi) and off the court, and I was just so happy to see my hard work paying off.”

In the future she hops to play for the Southern Force and Thunderbirds and to hopefully one day make an Australian team.
